Sorry I was absent!

Hi kids. Sorry I was not in class today. I am not feeling well. I hope that you behaved great for your covering teacher. And I also hope that you did all of the work assigned to you. I will be collecting them tomorrow. This, like all sub assignments, is a test grade. As long as you tried hard and completed the paper, you will have an A. I'm going to go rest now. Goodbye!

Correct! Correct! Correct!

I hope you all know this because this is very important. If you don't like your grade on any assignment- classwork, homework, or assessment, you can change it. Do corrections and you get half the points back that you missed the first time. For example, say you get a 70 on the Investigation 1 test. You missed 30 points. If you do all the corrections on a separate piece of paper, and turn it into the "corrections bin" in class, you will earn yourself an 85! Sweet huh? There is no reason to fail math class unless you don't try.

Open House!!!!!

Open House is on September 23rd from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. All parents and guardians are welcome. Please come. I would love to meet you!
