Journal
There will always be a problem, question, or assignment written on the sideboard each day. Everyday to start the class, you will answer it in your journal section of your binder. The answer must be a well thought out paragraph (approx. ½ page in length), titled and dated. If you are absent, you are responsible for all the journals missed. Spot checks for journals will be done throughout the trimester with or without notice for a test grade.
Notebook
You are required to take notes everyday. Each notebook entry should be titled and dated. Each entry will also be numbered in the upper right hand corner. If you are absent, you are responsible for copying notes missed. Any papers passed out that you have missed due to absence will be in the absent file. Work is filed by day.
